ACCOMODATION

~ The Cottage sleeps 4 individuals via 2 beds (one double and one small double)
~ Children over the age of 5 are counted as 1 person
~ Kirkgate Cottage strictly prohibits non permitted overnight guests/subletting or assigning rental to others

WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT?

Check-in is from 15:00pm

Check out is 10:00am

To request a a change to arrival and departure, please contact us prior to your stay and be aware that non adherence to this policy may result in a surcharge.


PARKING

There is room for 1 free car parking space directly in front of the Cottage, but this is on a first come first served basis with the other cottages on the street. Should you be bringing an additional car, then Sainsbury’s cark park is less than a 1 minute walk away - it’s 60p per hour between 8am-6pm and free outside of these hours/overnight. Alternatively, the lower Sainsbury’s car park is £2 for 24 hours.


ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED TO STAY?

For sure! If you can’t have a jolly holiday with your little ones then when can you!

Upon request we can provide the following for your little ones:

~ Travel cot with PROPER thick mattress and waterproof bottom sheet
~ Highchair (Ikea ANTILOP Highchair with Tray)

By booking a stay at Kirkgate Cottage you are 100% responsible for the supervision of your children.


CAN I BRING MY DOG, OR OTHER PETs?

No, sorry! :-( We love dogs but but we are unable to accommodate pets at Kirkgate Cottage. By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge and agree to comply with this regulation.

We want you to relax and enjoy your time at Kirkgate Cottage. Your home from home includes the following features:

WHAT ARE THE HOUSE RULES?

The rules are there are no rules - just jokes, who do you think we are?

~ No smoking inside the cottage, including e-cigarettes
~ No extra guests allowed
~ Please ensure windows, doors and gates must be closed and or locked when leaving the property
~ No pets
~ No shoes in the house

A welcome basket containing specially selected local produce will be provided
~ Tea towels and oven gloves
~ All necessary cookware and utensils
~ Crockery, cutlery
~ Cafetiere
- Refrigerator
~ Microwave (in under stairs cupboard)
~ Outdoor table and chairs

DAMAGE, LOSS & CLEANING

~ Please report any damages or breakages as soon as possible. Any significant breakages/missing items will be charged to your account.
~When leaving the property, you are fully responsible to leave it in the same condition as it was found when arriving
~ Please remove all food items and personal belongings from the premises before departure - any food items left behind will be disposed of
~ Any belongings left behind must be claimed within 28 days. After which they will be disposed of. A £25 administrative fee will be charged for a return service
~ All personal cosmetics can cause damage to all textiles within the cottage. Any guests causing damage/staining will incur an additional cleaning/repair cost
~ A standard charge for any key loss is £40


LIABILITY

~ Guests are kindly requested to ensure that windows are closed and the cottage is securely locked when they are not present on the premises during their stay
~ Kirkgate Cottage cannot be held responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of personal property belonging to guests while they are staying at the cottage
~ Please note that the use of the accommodation and its amenities is at the guest's own risk. Kirkgate Cottage accepts no liability for any damage, illness, or injury incurred as a result of using the accommodation or its facilities
~ Kirkgate Cottage shall not be held accountable for circumstances that fall outside of our reasonable control, including noise disruptions arising from site maintenance, neighbouring construction activities or disturbances in the local vicinity
~ It is important to understand that Kirkgate Cottage bears no liability for any personal injury or loss of life to guests that may occur on the premises
~ To maintain the cleanliness and integrity of the accommodation, bicycles are not permitted inside the cottage and should be stored in the bike shed provided


COMPLAINTS

~ We are committed to rectifying any identified problems as swiftly as reasonably possible, ensuring that our guests' comfort and satisfaction are prioritized. We may carry out essential maintenance on or within the property during your visit.

~ In the event of an emergency or to address any concerns raised by guests regarding disturbances or the care of the property, we reserve the right to enter the accommodation. It is important to us that we have the opportunity to investigate and address any complaints during your stay
